I would love my blog to become a place where people go for community. Where they go when they need a laugh, so they watch Taylor’s Sugar Circles. Where they go when they need hope, so they read my simple thoughts on faith and hope. But, more importantly, where they go when they need prayer or want to give praise because they know that there are people ready to humbly get on their knees or enthusiastically shout to the heavens on their behalf.
Please post your prayers requests (and praises) as a comment on this page. And please spend a moment in prayer for these women and men in the posts below.

Peanut and Poppy 
I’ll start. Please pray for my very close friends, Tiffany and Jack. They are in the hospital with their newborn baby girl as they wait for test results to determine the cause of her fever. Please pray for their peace and trust in the Lord, and pray that all of the test results come back negative. Thank you!

I ask your prayer for Maddox’s continued good health, and the health of our new baby. I also pray that God will give our children a heart that yearns to please Him.
Comment by Rebecca Smith August 31, 2009 @ 9:21 pmplease please pray for a good friend, and a new believer. she is pregnant, in her first trimester, and is required to take certain medication that could potentially pose a risk to her baby. please pray that the baby is protected by His hands throughout the pregnancy, and that the mommy can rest in His peace.

I ask that he would help me with my struggle with anxiety and depression. I ask that I would trust his plan and would focus more on others instead of myself.
Comment by meredith December 9, 2009 @ 5:04 pmHey ya’ll. This is a request for immediate prayer. A very very dear friend of mine just had a beautiful baby girl on New Year’s Eve, just one week ago. Unfortunately, sweet Stella was born with a bone fracture in her skull, and, according to the MRI, has internal bleeding. She is going in for a 2nd MRI at 11am today — just 20 minutes from now. They will check to see if the bleeding has ceased. If it has, this will be excellent news and they may be in the clear. If not, they will be heading to Duke for surgery. Please pray for sweet baby Stella, and for her Mommy and Daddy. Pray that God’s hands are holding Stella and healing her right now. That Mommy and Daddy can feel a sense of peace in His presence. And that the doctors will see NO sign of continued bleeding during the MRI. I will update you as I know more. But, until then, PLEASE join me in heavy prayer for this very very special family. I am in tears just thinking how beautiful they are and how wonderful a miracle would be to these first time parents. Thank you all.

prayer request for me, please! please pray for my emotions. they seem to be under attack and i am fighting my best fight. please please pray for my emotions to regain strength, that i have faith in our God, and find peace in all that is going on around me. thank you!!!

Comment by peanutandpoppy February 9, 2010 @ 9:15 amWe are taking our two year old son to Ohio for rare testing in June. So far insurance won’t pay for a dime of it. Please pray that we will get any type of information from the testing. Also that no matter what information we get that we are able to handle it and use it wisely. Please pray that we are able to have some fundraisers to help with the expenses of the trip.
