Peanut and Poppy

I would love my blog to become a place where people go for community. Where they go when they need a laugh, so they watch Taylor’s Sugar Circles. Where they go when they need hope, so they read my simple thoughts on faith and hope. But, more importantly, where they go when they need prayer or want to give praise because they know that there are people ready to humbly get on their knees or enthusiastically shout to the heavens on their behalf.

So, I have added a page to this blog. You can find it to the left under “Pages”, a link called “Your Prayer Requests“. A place where you can ask for prayer, give praise, or simply go to be in prayer for others. Please use it, and visit it, often. Let us call on Him.

Hi friends! I have officially made the change to WordPress. Obviously. Hopefully, my auto-forward feature on Blogspot will send all of my old readers to this new page. Bear with me as I learn new features, and get this site reformatted. I have 182 posts to get through and clean up from the transfer. I’ve made it through 36 so far. Over the past 24 hours. Yeah. It will take me a little bit.

I hope you like this better. I’ve got a new “My Story” page (under Pages to the left), a new search function, and categories so you can quickly find that awesome Sugar Circles video that you’re looking for. (Still working on assigning categories to all 182 posts.) And you can still “follow” this blog so that you know when new posts have been published. Just like Blogger.

One of my bestest friends in the whole world, and new mommy to a gorgeous little girl, has just created the most brilliant and adorable baby item. After a frustrating and scary encounter with a tailgater, Ashley and her husband, Todd, put their creative brains together to warn drivers that a precious baby is on board. Something to replace those bright yellow caution signs. This is an adorable pink or blue sign perfect for beach babies and parents like us. I’ll let Ashley and Todd go into detail about the inspiration behind the BOB sticker though.
